A recipe calls for a cup of Brewed Coffee (cake recipe).What is it? Is it Coffee powder/granuls mixed with a cup of water?

whats a good, no great, no-perfect one!? perferably w/ chocolate sryup/fudge or if ice cream- butter pecan could work.. something creamy and thick… or a cappuccino or latte, or a whatever u call it!!! so many names… they should just call it a shake…

Years ago, I had a recipe for buttercream frosting that used cremora or coffee mate powdered creamer in place of milk or cream, because then you didn’t have to refridgerate it. It was delicious, not to sweet, just perfect. Unfortunately, after moving a while back, the recipe was lost. I got the recipe after I took decoraing classes at a little shop in Roseville, MI, I think it was called the Cake and Candy Cupboard. Maybe someone out there can help me find it!
