I was very easy to make and was from those cards that show up in the mail. I might have been another name, but it was very chocolatey, gooey and had a specific frosting that went with it. Maybe the frosting had coffee in it, I don’t remember.

Here’s a family favorite:
CRUMB TOP COFFEE CAKE
1 stick whipped butter
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup milk
Combine butter, flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt and mix until crumbly. Reserve 1/2 cup for topping. To the remaining mixture, add the combined eggs and milk. Mix well. Pour into a greased and floured 8-inch square pan. Sprinkle with the reserved crumbs. Bake in a moderate oven, 375 F, 30 to 35 minutes.
Serving Size: 12

So far in my coffee maker, I put in cinnamon sticks, cloves and add a little nutmeg before I brew my coffee, but i would like to vary it. I even have a recipe which uses fennel in, but have yet to try it, but what do you use to make a good spiced coffee?
And how do you make an iced coffee?

Instant coffee, aprx. 1 tablespoon, but depends on the strenght you want
Sweetner to taste (equal or splenda mix better than sugar)

You could also add some chocolate milk mix to make a mocha iced coffee

drinks but I don’t like all the sugar and I can’t do sucralose at all. So i studied the ingredients on some of my favorites, stockpiled a lot of B vitamins, and amino acids and stuff. But all of the recipes seem to require caffeine. I’m fine with caffeine but I didn’t know it existed outside of coffee and tea. Where do you get it. I don’t like coffee or tea so I don’t want to use those as the source of the caffeine.

My recipe calls for instant espresso, but no one carries that where I live. Would instant coffee taste the same?

I am living in an apartment, and I’m getting sick of eating nothing but coffee, soup, and pizza. I could really use some good home cooked recipes. What I look for are cheap, quick, easy, healthy…etc. Thanks!

I’ve always wondered if the cup ratings on a coffee maker like 12 cups means 12 8oz cups or 12 6oz. cups? The reason I ask is because every container of ground coffee I buy has the recipe in 6oz cups such as: “Use 1 rounded tablespoon for each 6oz cup.” So is my coffee pot 96 total oz or 72?
