I googled this for you and I don’t know if it’s right, but this is what I found and the website I found it at is at the bottom.
Old Fashioned Coffee Cake, recipe from 1954
3 3/4 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup plus 2 tbsp. non-fat dry milk
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 1/4 cups brown sugar, packed
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup plus 2 tbsp. oil
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
Topping:
3/4 cup plus 3 tbsp. all purpose flour
1/4 cup plus 1 tbsp. brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup granulated sugar
dash of salt
1/4 plus 1/8 tsp. cinnamon

1/4 cup salad oil
Makes 18 servings
Oven temperature: 375 degrees
Baking time: 45 to 55 minutes

2) Add oil gradually and continue to blend until topping is crumbly.

Every year for Christmas morning my grandma fixed what she called eggless milkless butterless coffee cake. I think that she altered an old war time cake. But she has long passed away and never shared her recipe. Could anyone help? Thanks!

Starbucks in England also has a similar muffin, called a ’skinny blueberry muffin’. Does anyone have either of these recipes? Thanks!!

The best flavor comes from cold brewed coffee. There is less acid and less bitterness but more flavor than heat brewed. It is very easy.
1 cup of ground coffee and 2 cups of cold water gently stirred together in a non-reactive container (glass, plastic, ceramic) let it set 12 hours or over night and in the morning strain through a filter. Twice is best. Store any excess covered in the fridge for up to 2 weeks
Mix 1/4 cup of the cold brew coffee and 3/4 cup of milk. Sweeten to your taste. Pour over ice.
There is a cold brewer called a Toddy that makes this even easier. You car buy it all over the internet.
I use this mix to make a smoothie. I just add protein powder and ice and blend. It is great.
