Can I Replace Instant Espresso With Instant Coffee?

October 25th, 2009 by Rexx

I have a recipe (Tiramisu Tart) that calls for instant espresso granules, which I do not have and cannot buy before I need it. Can I use instant coffee instead? Maybe just more of it?

Quick And Easy Recipe That Uses Brewed Coffee And A Few Simple Ingredients. Baking Or Freezing Is Ok.?

October 24th, 2009 by Rexx

I always have half a pot or more coffee left over and don’t want to always throw away and I prefer not to reheat. I sometimes will add new grounds to previously used grounds (within hour or so not days) to recycle. ( I find it relevant) So, quick and EZ ideas you may have without me having to do an extraordinary amount of labor are requested. Usually looking for content that ISN’T sugar loaded and kid-friendly. Alcohol OK for the adults though. And thanks.

Question About Making Coffee Flavoured Ice Cream?

October 21st, 2009 by Rexx

I’m going to make coffee ice cream. (yum) I have a grinder and an espresso machine, so I can make nice strong coffee. But the ice cream recipes I’m seeing all call for freeze dried coffee. Why is that? Can’t I just use ground or liquid espresso?
p.s. Yes, you’re invited over for some when I’m done! :-)
