I’m going to bake cookies for my mom tomorrow, and I’m wondering what type I should make?
I don’t exactly want a plain type of suger, chocolate, or peanut butter, since we have/had it…
It would be a bonus if it tastes good with coffee. Yum.
Also, it doesn’t have to be cookies, per-say…it could be like, marbled, bar, brownie-ish, etc,.

I’d like to make a hot Coffee drink for an early morning tailgate (so something made quick and easy). I’m thinking of mixing in chocolate syrup, milk, and amaretto. Anyone done something like this before and have some suggestions? A recipe would be great too!

I am sick of spending so much money at coffee shops.. does anyone have a recipe for a vanilla latte? I need a quick one that won’t absorb all my getting ready time in the morning.

I have decided to make Basbousa as one of the desserts for our wedding and serve with coffee… or I will use it as a wedding favor for the guests when they leave. Most of them are American and will never have had this before… Do you think this is a good idea?
What is the best recipe for basbousa that you know of?
If you don’t think this is a good idea can you tell me of another easy dessert that I can make that is Egyptian or Middle Eastern that I can serve or give to the guests as favors? Please give me your recipes below:
Thanks!

I have chocolate syrup/ganache texture, walnuts and pecans, caramelized apples (which taste more bitter and wine-like than sweet), blueberries, bananas, and instant coffee. Out of these ingredients, what are some recipes for a suitable topping for a New York cheesecake (which I just finished baking)?

I am thinking about making a batch of homemade coffee liquor (kaluah). All the recipes require vodka to be the main alcohol ingredient, but I’m wondering since it’s going to be flavored with coffee and vanilla and such does it neccesarily have to be top shelf stuff? I was going to make a lot of it, so it wouldn’t be very “cost effective” if I were to buy two handles of Grey Goose or something when Smirnoff would work just as well.
Will it change the flavor of my homemade kaluah if I use cheaper stuff?

I just finnished making my first batch of homemade Kahlua, and my recipe said to boil the coffee, sugar and water and let it simmer for 2 hours. It got syrupy, but them at the end the recipe said to add more water.
Why do you have to boil it down, then add more water? I was just wondering if it would work the same to boil it about 30 minutes to dissolve the sugar?

My boyfriend and I love Creamy Chocolate Coffeemate but it gets expensive if we drink lots of coffee. Does anybody know how to make it. I have tried looking online but the recipes that I have tried never taste the same.
