I wouldn't advise you to do so. It would be a lot better to just stick to natural sugar. Sugar in the Raw is GREAT!

I assume you want to use that because its powder and it will dissolve better than regular sugar? The best thing to do is put equal parts of sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to a simmer and turn off heat. You have just made simple syrup. Put it in a jar or better yet a squeeze bottle and keep it in the refrigerator for up to 3 months or if you use it fast you can store it at room temperature for about a week. You can use this syrup for any drinks you make and there will be no undissolved sugar. You can also experiment with different flavors by adding some lemon or lime rind into the syrup, its great for iced tea. Enjoy.

I really wouldn't suggest using powdered sugar as a substitute in a beverage. If you are looking for another sugar substitute, try different types of extracts such as almond or vanilla, honey, fruit..etc.
