Coffee should be brewed for 4.5-5 minutes using a ratio of 55 grams of ground coffee per liter of filtered water (195-205°F). It is convenient to use 2 tablespoons of coffee per 6 ounces of filtered water.
Making coffee can be a simple process, but there are plenty of little things that you can do to make a bad cup. Though I’m presuming you’d rather make a good cup of coffee, so these might be a list of things to avoid doing.

Recipes for what? You want to just make one cup of coffee? Follow the direction on the jar.
If you want to cook something using coffee, just replace water with coffee in the recipe (like baking a cake with coffee instead of water in a premade mix, is REALLY good)
