1/2  cup butter  
1 1/2  cups packed brown sugar  
2  eggs  
1  teaspoon vanilla  
1 1/2  cups all-purpose flour, sifted  
2  tablespoons baking powder  
1  cup chopped nuts  
Butter the bottom of a 9X13-inch baking pan. 
Melt 1 stick butter in a saucepan. 
Remove from heat and add sugar and blend. 
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well. 
Stir in vanilla, flour and baking powder. 
Mix thoroughly. 
Add nuts and stir lightly. 
Pour into pan. 
Bake at 350F for about 30 minutes. 
Do not overbake. 
Cool in pan and cut into bars. 
You can add the chocolate morsels to these also.</description>

Pecan Pie Brownie
1/4 C butter or Margerine
2 Tbls Flour
1/4 C brown sugar
1/4 C Corn Syrup
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1-1/2 C coarsely chopped pecans
1 Pkg Betty Crocker Original Supreme Brownie Mix
        (with chocolate syrup pouch)
1/3 C water
1/3 C oil
3 Eggs
  Heat oven to 350 degrees, grease of use cooking spray on bottom of 9x13 pan
  Melt butter in 2 quart saucepan, stir in flour until smooth, stir in brown sugar, corn syrup and 2 eggs until well blended.
Cook over medium heat about 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until bubbly.  Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and pecans.
  Stir brownie mix, pouch of chocolate, water, oil and 3 eggs in  medium bowl, using spoon, until well blended.  Spread in pan.  Spoon pecan mixture evenly over top.
Bake 35-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out clean or almost clean.  Cool completely.  For 36 brownies, cut into 6 rows by 6 rows.  Store tightly covered.</description>
