Coffee Shake
* 1/4 cup chilled coffee
* 1/4 cup frozen blueberries
* 1/4 cup half & half
* 1 cup vanilla ice cream (you can vary the flavors to create new drinks)
* 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup
* Brew coffee the day before and place in a sealed container in refrigerator.
* Pour frozen blueberries into blender first. Add remaining ingredients and purée until smooth, no more than 90 seconds.
* Serve in a chilled glass with roasted coffee beans for garnish.
Elegant Iced Coffee
* 1 cup of coffee, slightly chilled
* Optional: Condensed milk, mint, rum, chocolate syrup
* Brew a dark roast coffee with twice as much coffee as you usually would.
* Once it has cooled a little, pour it over a full to the rim cup of ice.
* If you’d to make it Vietnamese, add condensed milk.
* For other fun twists you can add mint, rum or chocolate syrup.
Icy Mocha Rocaccino
* 1 cup strongly brewed coffee
* 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup
* 1 tablespoon chopped organic mocha chocolate
* 1 scoop vanilla or chocolate ice cream
* 4 ice cubes
* Stir the chocolate syrup into the hot coffee until melted. In a blender, combine the coffee with the ice cream and the ice cubes. Blend at high speed for 2 to 3 minutes. Sprinkle the mocha chocolate over the top. Serve immediately in a tall, cold glass on a warm day.
Iced Coffee With Coffee Ice Cubes
* A pot of strongly brewed coffee
* Brew the coffee and store it in the refrigerator.
* When it has fully cooled, pour some into ice cube trays and freeze.
* When the coffee ice cubes are ready, pour the cold coffee over the cubes. This keeps the coffee strong even as the ice melts.
Chocolate Espresso Crush
* 1 cups cold Espresso or French Roast coffee
* 1 scoop chocolate ice cream
* 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
* 1/2 cup ice cubes
* 1 tablespoon coffee or Godiva liqueur (optional)
* Crush ice in blender.
* Add remaining ingredients and blend.
Coffee Ice Cubes
Don’t let your coffee drinks get watered down with plain ice cubes. Freeze some coffee ahead of time in an ice cube tray. For a fancy touch, add a couple of whole roasted coffee beans to each cube. Warn your guests though. When the cubes melt, you don’t want folks choking on the loose beans.

Rock Sugar Swizzle Sticks
These are a sweet and fun addition to any drink, if you ask me. They are just simple stir sticks, covered in thick rock candy at the end.

Plan Ahead
You should brew your coffee ahead of time, to give it time to cool before preparing your iced coffees. Though some recipes call for hot coffee to start with, most drinks will be far frostier if you chill the coffee thoroughly first. Don’t leave it out for too long while still warm. Pop your coffee into the refrigerator once it’s down to room temperature, both to cool it and to keep bacteria at bay.
Jazz up the Whipped Cream
Alot of good iced coffee recipes call for whipped cream on top for the finishing touch. Don’t settle for a dull dollop! It’s not hard to make delicious flavoured whipped cream to jazz up your drinks.
Make a pot of coffee with twice the amount of ground coffee you usually use. Immediately remove from heat and chill in the fridge. When cold pour over ice and add cream/sugar to your taste.
I like to blend instant coffee (or espresso) powder with some ice, sweetened condensed milk, a splash of vanilla extract, and either cinnamon or nutmeg powder. It tastes amazing!
