Hair Recipes (coffee)?

June 29th, 2009 by Rexx

i have brown hair
I heard rinsing your hair with coffee made it richer and darker.
Whats the best way to do it?
how often, when (like after i shower), i heard you could mix it in your shampoo too
What other hair recipes could i use to make my hair richer and shinier
and looking more heathly
please dont suggest anything with honey, eggs, or milk
anything else is fine :)

I’d heard the coffee thing too and tried it a bunch of ways, personally even though my hair is a lighter brown naturally, even for me it didn’t stain, I was pretty disappointed =o(
I noticed NO color change whatsoever. Unfortunately, the only thing that changes color is actual dyes, other things may stain, but then I heard a horror story at work about someone using BEET JUICE…yeah, it gets RINGS in it after time (overlapping stains, progressively darker, so she had what she described as rings like the inside of a tree trunk) — if you’re INTO that, then there’s a great way to get it, if not…avoid using stuff people say will color your hair because apparently it can get dicey =/ haha

RAIN WATER it’s really good for your hair. it makes it shiny and really soft. get a bucket and leave it out for the day if it looks like its going to rain. and to make sure that its not acid water add some salt to it and if it stays the same then its safe. i do this every once in a while cause it barley ever rains anymore anyways. but you could add Coffee to you CONDITIONER and mix it around add like 2 cups but your going to have to take some conditioner out of the bottle though. hope it helps..
