I Am Looking For A Recipe For A “dessert Bar” Sold In Coffee Shops In Britain & New Zealand.?

The dessert bars came in lots of different combinations. Choc/caramel; white choc.

Caramel Slice
1/4 cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup coconut
1 egg, beaten
3/4 cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup margarine
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp. milk
1 cup powdered sugar
Melt margarine; remove from heat; add sugar; stir. Add rest of
ingredients and stir well. Spread into greased 9×9 pan; bake about 25 minutes at 350 degrees or until medium brown; cool. Combine margarine and sugar in pan. Add milk and bring to a boil for 2
minutes; cool. (Set pan in cold water and stir.); add powdered
sugar and beat; if too stiff, add a bit more milk until soft enough to spread; smooth over bars; cut 36.
Dessert Bar Recipe
1/3 pound graham cracker crumbs
1 cup butter
1 cup peanut butter
1 pound powdered sugar
vanilla extract, to taste
2 cups chocolate chips
Mix graham crackers crumbs, butter, peanut butter, powdered sugar and vanilla; press in buttered pan. Melt 2 cups chocolate chips over hot water. Spread over mixture in pan. Cool overnight.
