I Need To Find A True To Life Appetite Suppressant. Those With Caffeine Just Don’t Cut It. I Drink Coffee!!?

February 21st, 2010 by Rexx

Most appetite suppressants nowadays have had to take the real good stuff out and replace it with other things to make the consumer think they are still getting the same great product. I drink too much coffee for a suppressant that has alot of caffeine in it to even work on me. I really need a suppressant that is VERY strong!!!! I eat 5 small portioned meals a day – but it doesn’t qwell my appetite – even when I drink water before hand – and I drink adequate amounts of water; I workout with weights and cardio 4-6 days per week; I do not take well to recipes – only what I should or shouldn’t eat – which I already know; and I do not respond to answers that appear to sell me things – I won’t even look.

I don’t know of any effective appetite suppressant that is available over-the-counter.
Hoodia is a big name right now, but no studies have shown a significant affect on appetite, or long-term weight loss. Strongly appears that it just doesn’t work. Not that that will keep the supplement manufacturers from selling it. They’d sell Snickers bars as a diabetes treatment if they could get away with it.
Take a look at this list from the Mayo Clinic:http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/drug-in…
These have been shown to have at least some effect. You will, of course, need a prescription for them, so you’ll need to talk to your doctor. Which would be a VERY good idea even if you did find something that might work over-the-counter.

I always found that caffeine made me hungry. It makes your blood sugar fluctuate so that it is hard to keep your mood and appetite regulated.
