Sounds like it might be Viennese-style coffee (General Food International Coffees flavor is called Cafe Vienna). I found a recipe for one of those gift-in-a-jar mixes, you use about 3 tablespoons of this mix per (6 ounce) cup:
CAFE' VIENNA MIX
1 cup instant coffee
1 cup sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 cups non-dairy creamer
1 1/2 cups nonfat dry milk
4 Tblsp cocoa
This one might be good, too:
Cappuccino Mix
1 cup instant coffee creamer
1 cup instant chocolate drink mix (Nestle's Quik)
2/3 cup instant coffee crystals
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
Combine all and mix well. Store in an airtight container.
For one serving, add 3 T. mix to 6 oz. hot water; stir well.
You can use decaf instant coffee or regular, as you like. It's easier to get decaf this way, rather than buying the premixed tins of GFIC or similar. I've done this as gifts for family members (who avoid caffeine) with decaf crystals. I hope this satisfies your craving! :)
