Is Coffee Or Tea Ok For Good Henna Paste?

July 31st, 2009 by Rexx

I want to make the henna paste, but all the recipes i found have coffee or black tea as ingredients. I read on another website that you shouldn’t use either of them. Any suggestions, or recipes that you use?

If for body art you just simply use fresh lemon juice and water to make the best henna tattoos.
You want to follow the directions that came with your henna powder. If it didn’t come with any then you may want to try and contact the manufacturer for their advice.
I get quality henna hair dye from Henna Hut and their product simply mixes with water and apply. They do have recipes on their site that are tried and true.

I use black tea for henna for hand designs and in my hair.
I start out with henna powder and some lemon (or lime) juice. Then, I’ll gradually add black tea to the mix until it is at the right consistency. For skin, I’ll add a little sugar and oil. For hair, I’ll add a little paprika.

    and easy.

    1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons superior essential oil
    mix and let sit
the KISS recipe is so easy and it works every time.

don’t bother, it doesn’t do a thing for the henna, but you can absorb caffeine through the skin.http://www.hennacaravan.com/how/mix.html
here is the KISS recipe that works everytime.
    have fun
