    Chocolate-Almond Coffee Frappe
1/4 cup black coffee (room temperature)
1/4 cup milk* (plus a little more, if needed, for smooth blending)
1 cup chocolate ice cream (see Diane’s Tip below)
    1 teaspoon almond extract
1 cup crushed ice (or smallest cubes possible)
    2 Tablespoons chocolate syrup
    Cinnamon, for dusting
    Optional
*Milk options: whole milk, skim milk, soy milk, etc.
4 teaspoons of sugar or two packets of sugar substitute (to taste)
Extra scoops of ice cream, for garnish
    Whipped cream, for topping
Place black coffee, milk, ice cream, almond extract and crushed ice in blender jar. Add sugar or sugar substitute only if desired. (The taste is quite sweet without it!)
With blender lid securely closed, pulse blender until mixture is smooth. If blades get stuck, add a little more milk.
Pour 1 Tablespoon of chocolate syrup into the bottom of each glass. (This makes the drink look and taste even more delectable.)
Divide the coffee frappe between your glasses and dust with cinnamon. Serve immediately!
Chef’s Tip: It’s best to use precrushed ice; if using ice cubes, choose the smallest ones possible to avoid harming the blades of your blender.
Try vanilla ice cream with vanilla extract.

get espresso, and an espresso maker if you don’t already have one. prepare one “shot” of espresso (and of course, steam some milk with the espresso steam arm thing… as much as you’d like, i usually use 1/8 to 1/4 of a cup of milk), mix with 1/2 cup of your favorite coffee (i like Kona coffee, but I like strong coffee) add about 2 tablespoons of flavored syrup (you can get you favorite flavors in the coffee section at your local market) or you can just sub with hershey’s. add whipped cream and some powdered cocoa to the top and its good as gold!
    1/2 cup coffee
1 shot of espresso (or more, if you like- more will make it stronger)
up to 1/2 cup steamed milk
2 squarts of flavor syrup, or 2 tablespoons

Create the drink in a thick, sturdy coffee glass. Put a spoon in the glass – add Baileys, then coffee and lastly the loosely whipped cream.
    Enjoy a tasty coffee drink!
