		<description>Powdered sugar is the same things as confectioner&#039;s sugar which is also the same as 10x sugar.  I think it got the nickname powdered sugar because the sugar is so powder like.  The granules are so finely ground unlike regular table sugar the kind you might put in coffee.  This makes it easier to blend with things like Crisco or butter to make icing.  If you were to use regular sugar the icing would not turn out and what you would be left with is a grainy butter/Crisco glob.</description>
