I know irish cream is whiskey or baileys or whatever…
but the actual “irish cream” flavoring… in coffee creamer and recipes…. what IS it supposed to taste like then? Whiskey? Coffee? both?
I don’t understand what the actual “irish cream’ flavor is supposed to taste like…
???

i want to make it with no eggs. We made it in school but i dont have a recipe. All i remeber was putting heavy cream, sugar, food coloring, vanilla into a plastic bag. Then we put it into a coffee container that was full with rocksalt and ice. It came out soft, but it was really good.

I am making coffee cake but I don’t have any sour cream. the recipe requires 1/2 sour cream. I was told there was some in my fridge in the basement. but there is none. people said you could use yogurt. But my yogurt went mouldy. people said you could use buttermilk. But i only have 1% milk that says it tastes like 2%. I need help! What can yo do instead of sour cream? thnx!

Ive made this cake many times before, but always ends up undercooked in the middle and burnt on the edges because the only recipes i can find call for tube pans. The kind of recipe i want is like this one:http://southernfood.about.com/od/coffeec… but without the tube pan.
If you can find one that would be great
thanks a ton.
